Solving the problem

1. My selected opportunity is "Why people don't use their turn signals when changing lanes or turning". A problem that almost everyone has seen and yet everyone deals with. A problem that has many reasons; Laziness, Forgetfulness, Not caring, Thinking it's optional, etc.

2. My product is can be one of 2 things:
A- An automatic turn signal that turns on when you turn the wheel to a certain angle or threshold, that way laziness is taken out of the equation
B- A sort of reminder alarm like when your driving to use it when the wheel is turn, sort of like when you forget to put your seat belt on or leave a car door open. '

I would intend for the products to be bought buy car manufacturers, dealerships, auto repair stores, and etc. People that work with the car and know how it is all put together.

  1. Hello Trevor, seems like a good idea. I think this is something that could be put in place or worked on with a car manufacturer. Many new cars are starting to involve lane safety technology. This is also very similar to the new toddler car seats that have an alarm if your baby is left in the car.

  2. Hey man, great idea for a product. Not to sound elitist but it was a complete culture shock moving from Pennsylvania to Florida when it came to roadway travel. No one down here uses their turn signals. This is definitely a wise opportunity to exploit and it seems you have the market you want to target hemmed in. Great work!

  3. I think this idea is great. It plays very well off of your hypothesis testing. I also agree that you can take this idea to car manufacturers and they would absolutely love it. Cars are becoming more and more safe by the hour, and it would be a mistake for this to not be apart of newer model cars.
